Hikea is a series I created and directed with Hunter Fine in which real people on hallucinogenic drugs attempt the already difficult task of building Ikea furniture. The videos were embraced immediately by just about every major media outlet and they were viewed over 4 million times in just a few weeks. We are currently interested in making a third Hikea film featuring ayahuasca, and need only to find a shaman with a sense of humor.
Bill Maher got some laughs when he talked about Hikea on “Real Time.”
The project was written up in these fine publications among many others.
