The most beloved era of Sacramento Kings basketball was the early 2000s. C-Webb, Vlade, Peja. It was glorious to behold. So to promote the release of the ’24-’25 Nike Classic Edition Uniform, a throwback to the purples from 2003, we brought back the starting backcourt duo of Doug Christie and Mike Bibby, doing a little crafting in the garage to help them relive the good old days. The film also features Doug’s wife Jackie Christie, who is a reality star on shows like Basketball Wives.
The film dropped on team socials, and was quickly picked up by ESPN, Uproxx, Dime and CBS Sports.
And we somehow garnered the most positive Instagram comment section I’ve literally ever seen.
